Deja tus zapatos y abrigos en la entrada de tu casa
El vestíbulo o entrada en estos tiempos
La entrada
o el vestíbulo es el lugar de la
vivienda cuando llegamos de la calle en el que se suelen dejar los abrigos,
sombrilla y sombreros. Sin embargo, hoy
tiene más relevancia para nuestra seguridad
en tiempos de incertidumbre.
La
recomendacion de los expertos es dejar además los zapatos a la entrada, y evitar que las partículas aéreas puedan entrar y esparcirse. De esta forma, hacer el
cambio de calzado para usar otros en nuestra casa se convierte en un paso muy
necesario.
Aquí en Suecia es una costumbre desde siempre
y es usual dejar los zapatos que utilizamos
en la calle a la entrada para hacer el cambio por otro tipo de calzado. También
en otros países es una costumbre de respeto.
Hoy en día
en tiempos de incertidumbre no debe ser solo por costumbre ni por respeto, es también por nuestra seguridad
y protección. Sé que en muchos países se empieza a salir del
encierro, por lo tanto, ahora es fundamental al salir seguir manteniendo algunas
normas de higiene que van más allá del distanciamiento y el tapabocas, también
lo es, dejar aparte los zapatos que usamos en el exterior.
El problema
puede ser que ese espacio reservado para dejar nuestra ropa y calzado y que
antecede a otros espacios de la casa es a veces limitado o simplemente no
existe. Lo es, sobre todo, cuando
vivimos en pocos metros o la casa no
tiene diseñado ese espacio en la casa.
En ese caso si no existe, podemos reservar un pequeño lugar justo después
de la puerta principal. También podemos rediseñar una entrada eliminando corredores, o minimizando salones. Quizás, si existe la posibilidad de más metros hacer la forma para ubicar la
entrada. Alternativamente, podemos
adaptar ese pequeño espacio con zapateras
o una pequeña alfombra en el que dejar nuestros zapatos. En resumen
adaptar ese lugar a nuestras necesidades, familia y tamaño de la casa o
apartamento. En el caso del uso de zapateros o alfombras utilizar aquellas que
sean fáciles de limpiar. La idea es que al llegar a nuestro hogar nos podamos
sentir tambien seguros en él.

Leave your shoes and coats at the entrance of your house
The lobby or entrance in these times
The entrance or the hall is the place where the
coats, umbrellas and hats are usually left when we arrive from the street.
However, today it is more relevant for our security in these of uncertainty.
The recommendation of the experts is to also leave the shoes at the entrance,
in order to prevent airborne particles from entering and spreading. In this
way, making the change of footwear to use others in our house becomes a very
necessary step.
Here in Sweden it has always been a custom to
leave the outdoor shoes at the entrance and change for another type of footwear
indoors. Also, in other countries it is custom out of respect to do so. Today,
in times of the uncertainty it should not just be out of habit or out of
respect; it is also for our safety and protection. I know that in many
countries you start to going out from the lockdowns, therefore, it is now
essential when you go out to continue to maintaining some hygiene standards
that go beyond distancing, the face mask, and also leave aside the shoes that
we use outdoors. The problem may be that the lobby space simply does not exist.
The lobby should be reserved for leaving our clothes and shoes and precedes
other spaces in the house.
Above all, when we live in a few meters or the
house does not have that space designed in the house. In the case the lobby does
not exist, we can reserve a small space just after the main entrance. An
entrance can also be redesigned by eliminating corridors, or minimizing rooms.
Also, we can assign some space at the main entrance to make the lobby. Alternatively,
we can adapt that small space with shoe racks or a small carpet in which to
leave our shoes. In short, we can adapt this place to our needs, family and
size of the house or apartment. In the case of the use of shoe racks or
carpets, use those that are easy to clean. The idea is that when we get to our
home we can also feel safe in it.
